Lead safe work practices must be initiated, overseen, and certified by a licensed Certified Renovator. This is an 8-hour class (typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm) with exam. Two hours are hands-on participation. Training by Kachina Lead Paint Solutions, accredited by the U.S. EPA for purposes of certification under section 402 of the Toxic Substances Control Act.
